Meet Stu, Delivery Supervisor

With decades of experience in the construction industry, Stu brings a practical mindset and a wealth of knowledge to the Noble Services team. As Delivery Supervisor, no two days are ever the same, but that's exactly what he enjoys. 

"I still don't think I've had two days that are exactly the same," Stu laughs. "I get to work, see what's on for the day, and often get other jobs added along the way. Every day's an adventure." 

Drawing on his background in construction, Stu plays an important role in helping the team work efficiently. He's often the person others turn to for advice, sharing his experience to help jobs run smoothly and be completed as effectively as possible. 

"I see my role as helping people get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. A lot of the team ask me questions, and I don't mind that at all. It's nice to be able to pass on what I've learned over the years." 

One of the biggest differences Stu has noticed since joining Noble is the level of planning and organisation. 

"I'm used to working day by day, so having the week's work planned out makes a huge difference. I like structure. It helps me plan ahead, work efficiently and stay on top of things, even when weather or urgent jobs throw a few curveballs." 

 While he enjoys the variety of the role, fencing has become one of his favourite types of work. 

"It's rewarding because many of these fences have been there for years. Seeing the finished result and knowing the client has a strong, tidy fence that will keep them safe is a great feeling." 

Like many roles in property maintenance, things don't always go to plan. Stu says people often don't realise how quickly unexpected challenges can affect an entire week's schedule. 

"If something goes wrong, it can put a real spanner in the works. Sometimes that means sacrificing a lunch break or adjusting the plan for the day, but that's all part of keeping things moving." 

Outside of work, Stu's favourite place to be is with his family. 

"I love spending time with my kids and watching them grow. They grow up so quickly, so making the most of that time is really important to me." 

Whether he's sharing advice with the team, building a new fence or tackling whatever the day brings, Stu's experience, work ethic and willingness to help make him a valued part of Noble Services.
